Two credit unions give to Twifo Praso hospital

Twifo Praso (C/R), Nov. 27, GNA - The Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District Teacher's Cooperative Credit Union Limited and the 'Twifoman' Credit Union on Friday donated to the Twifo-Praso District Hospital various items worth eight million cedis.

They included 15 mattress, 10 bed sheets, sets of bandages, a quantity of cotton wool, 48 bottles of dettol antiseptic, five packets of surgical gloves and benches.

Mr Emmanuel Darko, General Manager of the Ghana Co-operative Credit Union Association (CUA), who made the presentation on behalf of the two unions, said they were being donated in line with their social responsibility to the hospital, and to commemorate the CUA's 50th anniversary.

He took the opportunity, to urge all workers to join CUA in order to avail themselves of its benefits.

Mr James Gawu, Medical Assistant in-charge of the hospital, who received the items thanked the unions for their gesture and appealed for their continued support.
