Gamba All Blacks performed the double over their regional rivals, Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord when the beat them 2-1 in the 19th Week Onetouch Premier League match at the Swedru Sport Stadium on Sunday.
It was All Blacks who started the game on a blistering note and they when ahead to score the opening goal in the third minute when their striker Patrick Agyeman robbed Feyenoord's Theophilus Appoh off the ball to open the scores.
Feyenoord who also showed early determination in the game, accepted the early exchanges and went ahead to draw level in the 29th minute when Dominic Adiyiah capitalized on a defensive blunder by the defenders of All Blacks to level up the scores.
Gamba All Blacks were back in the lead two minutes later through Richards Anyanful when he positioned himself to tap in a rebound into the Feyenoord net after their goalie Loamey failed to make a first time save of the ball.
Feyenoord increased the tempo of their game in the second half as they controlled the midfield but the All Blacks defence marshaled around Alidu Musah and Sabato Yahaya denied the youngsters from causing any havoc.
In the 75th minute, All Blacks Obed Owusu was in a position to increase his side's lead but the striker who was un-marked and with only keeper Loamey at his mercy, was so undecided with the ball which gave Appoh the chance to atone for his earlier misses to quickly recover to clear the ball off his lines.
