Obuasi, March 21, GNA - A 63rd minute goal scored by Pasit Adam was all that tottering News Edubiase needed to earn the maximum three over visiting Dormaa Aduana Stars in their 23rd Week Glo Premier League encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium.
Both sides played strongly in the scoreless first half but the few chances that came their way were all squandered. Edubiase lifted up their as they played an all attacking game when the second half resumed and in one of their attacks Pasit Adam beautifully connected home from Fusheini Nuhu's pass as his shot beat Aduana's goalie Stephen Adams for the only goal of the match.
Aduana accepted the challenge and mounted severe pressure on Edubaise and in th 75th minute they came close to finding the equalizer but Kwame Frimpong's shot was brilliantly saved by keeper Collins Addo. The visitors continued to pile incessant pressure on Edubiase but they could not find the net until referee Cecil Fletcher whistled for the end of the game.
