Sekondi Hasaacas on Wednesday beat visiting Tano Bofoakwa 2-0 in their Onetouch Premier League match played at the Sekondi Gyandu Park. Isaac Donkoh shot Hasaacas ahead in the 57th minute after several abortive goal attempts in the first half.
Paul Aidoo added the second goal in the 76th minute against the trend of the game when Bofoakwa were on top and dominated attacks up front. Hasaacas had to put in extra effort to beat the visitors as they proved to be a strong side and on a good day they could have made amends as they refused to bulge to give the homesters any breathing space. Both teams showed strong determination to carry the day but it was Hasaacas who took their chances to come on top of the proceedings. Hasaacas began to shine after Samuel Ellis failed to utilize a penalty awarded his side in the 38th minute.
Bofoakwa, however, played tactically to hold the homesters to a goal-less drawn game in the first half but that was not enough to save them from total defeat.
