Abrankese, (Ash), June 28, GNA - Kessben FC on Saturday drew goalless with visiting King Faisal Babies in their One-Touch Premier League match played at the Anane Boateng Sports Stadium at Abrankese near Kuntanase in the Ashanti Region.
The home team who are relegation-threatened moved into action right after the referee's blast of the whistle and mounted pressure on the visitors in search of a goal but King Faisal decided on an aggressive and robust play to counter the marauding attack of Kessben. The attitude of the visitors resulted in three of their players made up of Enoch Ebo Andoh, Abdul Samad Oppong and Eric Adu Poku attracting yellow cards in the 13th minute, 17th minute and 44th minutes for rough play.
The only clear chance that came the way of Kessben in the first half was on the stroke of time when Moro Ibrahim broke loose from his marker to intercept a cross from Baba Iddi and went on a solo effort in the opponent's goal area but his final delivery at goal narrowly missed the target.
After the game resumed for the second half, both teams concentrated their play in the midfield and made little effort at goal to end the match goalless.
