Asante Kotoko resumed training on Wednesday ahead of the league’s resumption on January 7.
Kotoko hosts Aduana Stars in the week 13 fixture which they need to win to ensure they maintain their top spot on the league log.
“The player have had a good rest over the Christmas period but it is now time to get back to work,” Kotoko’s Public Relations and Supporters Manager Listowell Yesu Bukarson told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“We want to ensure we leave no stone unturned in our quest to maintain our lead on the league table so hopefully by the time the league ends we will emerge winners.”
Kotoko who currently hold a one-point lead over All Stars will travel to Liberty Professionals after the game with Aduana before rounding up the first round with a home tie against Medeama.
