Hearts of Oak tasted their first defeat of the season after falling 3-1 at home to a well drilled Wa All Stars side.
The Phobians who were leading the table after five round of game saw Kenichi Yatsuhashi make five changes to the team that won in the FA Cup last weekend.
Goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye was replaced by Samuel Akrugu with Kenneth Okoro who got a brace in the FA Cup being preferred to Cosmos Dauda upfront.
Samuel Yeboah and Eric Kumi returned to the starting lineup after they were all rested for the FA Cup.
WA All Stars had goalkeeper Richard Ofori back in the post after missing their FA Cup game due to his inclusion in the Black Stars. Maxwell Barko was only good for a place on the Bench but that did little to deter the away side who shot themselves in-front after just 19 minutes Kweku Asuandzi with a well taken goal though there were two other players who were suspected of being offside.
One shortly became two when Richard Arthur took advantage of a mix up in the Hearts of Oak defense to give Wa All Stars their second goal of the game and put the whole stadium quiet on the 35th minute.
The Phobians improved drastically after conceding the second goal with Eric Kumi presented with a good opportunity to reduce the deficit but his effort was disappointing.
The second half started with a lot of attacking play from the Phobians Ibrahim Musah the two goal hero from the game against Inter Allies was introduced and he connected well from a corner to reduce the deficit.
But at a time when everybody thought the Phobians were going to draw the chest nut from the blazing fire Wa All Stars got the third goal through Emmanuel Ocran.
The goal did all but just end any hopes of a Phobians come back and condemn them to their first defeat of the season.
