Kumasi, Oct. 6 GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs played a good game to beat Kumasi-based King Faisal 2-1 in their mid-week Glo Premier League encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. Dwarfs got the opener in the 23rd minute through skipper Bismark Asiedu who meandered his way through two defenders before hitting the back of the net after receiving a pass from Edward Adjaklo against the run of play.
Mohammed Farouk leveled up for Faisal seven minutes into the second session when he connected home a ball just from the goal line after goalkeeper Adade Foli had failed to make a first time save from Thomas Avorgbedor's in-swinger from the right wing. Not perturbed by the equalizing goal, the skipper of Dwarfs, Asiedu was on hand eight minutes after the equaliser to make it two with a perfect header from substitute Michael Insaido in a goalmouth melee. Faisal was awarded a penalty when Dwarfs defender, Patrick Cole handled the ball in his box but Ofosu Micky's kick hit the side posts to the chagrin of the home fans.
