Real Sportive 1 Power 0

At the Tema Sports Stadium, giant-killers Real Sportive confirmed their superiority over Power F/C when they beat them 1-0 in their GT Premier League match.

Sportive who beat Power by the same margin in the first round, scored the only goal of the match in the 23rd minute through striker Mark Ado Amofa who was also on target to have scored the goal for his side in the first round.

It was Sportive who piled pressure on their opponents from the blast of the referee's whistle and it came as no surprise when they got the goal.

Power, who were determined to avoid a second defeat, brought on Solomon Adjei for Sam Arthur while Sportive also substituted Joel Adjei for Evans Aidoo in the 35th minute but the changes failed to change the score-line.

In the 60th minute, Power nearly equalised but Nana Yaw's terrific shot was expertly saved by Sportive's keeper Laud Quartey. Thomas Mensah of Power was shown the red card for dangerous play in the 75th minute but Sportive failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage to score any more goals as Power's keeper Lawrence Quaye stood tall thwart all their effort at goal.

Power's keeper Quaye was adjudged the best player of the match.
