Sportive 2 Kade Hotspurs 0

At Tema Stadium, a goal in each half enabled Real Sportive to beat visiting Kade Hotspurs 2-0 in their match.

Sportive's prolific goal poacher, Mark Adu Amofa opened the scores for his side when his low grounder beat goalkeeper Alex Agyepong in the 35th-minute.

The tide changed in favour of Hotspurs after the goal but their attackers fumbled in front of goal with Amui Qaye and Emmanuel Lartey being the worst offenders.

Back from recess, Sportive piled up more pressure on their opponents and deservedly scored the second goal through Richard Yeboah in the 63rd-minute.

Hotspurs brought on Moses Amoako for Kwame Asiedu while Sportive also substituted Stephen Afful for Gafaru Mohammed in the dying minutes of the game but it did not change the score-line. Goalkeeper Laud Quartey of Sportive was adjudged the best player of the match.

The return of Okwawu United's foreign Coach David Taylor from Briton ended their chain of losses when they defeated Kpando Heart of Lions by a lone goal in their match at the Nkawkaw Park.

Emmanuel Azito scored the only goal in the 43rd-minute when his shot from Albert Owusu's free kick beat keeper Richard Clinton. Okwawu played a good game in the first half but their attackers led by Adolf Gyimah and Thomas Avegbedor wasted the chances that came their way.

Both teams exhausted their substitution list but the changes nearly benefited Lions when substitute Bob Zeo, Joe Masire and Yusif Razak combined effectively with Alidu Anas, Eric Bekoe and Jerry Akamenko who piled on excessive pressure on Okwawu but the home team defence led by Kwame Antwi, David Mensah and Evans Koranteng foiled all their efforts at goal.
