Tagoe and Helegbe stalk Sadat's lead on scorers chart

Accra, July 20, GNA - Michael Helegbe of Liberty Professionals and Hearts of Oak's Prince Tagoe who have scored eight goals in the 16-week-old GT Premier League are breathing down heavily on the neck of the leading goal scorer, Sadat Bukari of Heart of Lions who has nine goals to his credit.

Helegbe who scored his side's second goal in their 3-2 victory over Cape Coast Dwarfs on Wednesday brings his goal tally to eight this season just a goal behind Heart of Lions, Bukari.

Tagoe who scored the winner when Hearts beat Gomoa Feyenoord 2-1 in a rescheduled 15th week encounter last Monday could not find the target this time around when the two sides finished their 16th week encounter goalless.

Sadat, leader of the goal king race for some time now, scored a brace against Arsenals last Sunday when Lions played Arsenal at Kpando but did not find the back of the net this time around when the two sides met at the Berekum Golden City Park.
