Titus Glover, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has revealed that his defeat in the 2020 elections for the Tema East constituency was due to internal sabotage by party members.
Glover, a former Member of Parliament, expressed that a lack of support from within his party led to his loss to the NDC candidate.
"I lost Tema East because my people did not support me; they sabotaged my campaign, resulting in my defeat to the NDC," citinewsroom.com quoted him as saying in an interview.
Speaking at the campaign launch for Jefferson Kwamena Sackey, who is running for the Ablekuma Central seat, Glover urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to overcome internal divisions as they prepare for the upcoming December elections.
"We should eschew all forms of division as we prepare for the polls. We can't be divided going into the election, so let's remain united," he emphasized.
