The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on party sympathisers to refrain from creating and distributing unauthorised content in the run-up to the general elections.
In a statement issued by the National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, the party acknowledged the enthusiasm of its sympathisers but emphasised the need for coordinated messaging.
"It has come to the attention of the National Communications Bureau of the NDC, that out of enthusiasm to see the party win the upcoming December 7 polls, some party sympathizers are producing their own adverts and creative works to market the party’s policies," it noted.
To maintain consistency in the party's messaging, the NDC urged those interested in producing adverts to seek approval from the National Communications Bureau.
"In order to ensure message harmony and effective communication, we are by this circular advising anyone desirous of producing an advert to promote the policies of the NDC to contact the National Communications Bureau of the party for the necessary clearance and guidance," it stated.
