The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to launch its 2024 General Elections campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Early scenes indicate high euphoria in the township as party members and supporters eagerly gear up for this highly anticipated event.

Images from Tamale show party paraphernalia on display by vendors, as well as party campaign banners splattered around town. Preparations are still underway, with the stage being mounted so far.

The campaign launch will feature the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, his running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, and other high-ranking party officials including the National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Fiifi Kwetey, as well as the Council of Elders.

Parliamentary candidates and Members of Parliament are all expected to grace the event.

The NDC has reiterated its commitment to reset Ghana ahead of the polls in December.
