The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professionals Forum, a professional wing of the party, has supported the campaign of the party's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
The group has donated GH¢2 million to bolster Mahama's bid for the presidency in the upcoming 2024 elections.
This donation was presented during the launch of the NDC's house-to-house campaign, an initiative led by the Professionals Forum aimed at reducing the incidence of spoiled ballots in the country's elections.
The campaign seeks to educate voters on the correct way to cast their ballots, ensuring that their votes count.
Sam Pee Yalley, President of the NDC Professionals Forum, led the group to make the donation.
Former President Mahama expressed his gratitude to the NDC Professionals Forum for their generous donation.
Mahama encouraged the members to continue their efforts in the house-to-house campaign, stressing the importance of educating the public on the proper voting process.
The event also witnessed additional donations from various sub-bodies within the Forum, including the Directorate of Health, the Financial Forum, and others.
These contributions, which included television sets and other items, underscore the collective commitment of NDC professionals to supporting the party's campaign and ensuring a successful election outcome.
