The Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ayawaso East Constituency, Zak Rahman has disclosed that he is cruising to victory considering the gains he has made in the area.

He is optimistic that the warm reception from the various stakeholders within the constituency following his engagement will translate into votes and propel him to victory in the 2024 polls.

According to him, he has so far visited more than 7,000 households on his community engagements and from the interactions and assurances, victory is assured in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking to the media at his Campaign office ahead of another round of engagement with the various stakeholders he said “I have had a cordial relationship with the residents and I can tell you that most of them are eager to mandate me as the next lawmaker for the area as well as make Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the President. We have over 9,000 households in Ayawaso East Constituency and I have so far visited more than 7,000 and interacted with them to find out their challenges and how I could be of help. The responses have been very awesome and the assurances are reawakening. They have given me enough hope based on the assurances and I have no doubt victory beckons”

Zak Rahman has promised he would not be a lawmaker who only visits his constituents when he needs their mandate but will continue to execute the bond that exists between them. This he said has been manifested in the numerous projects he has embarked on in the constituency including skills training, connecting electricity to some communities and lobbying for projects when he is not even the Member of Parliament(MP).

“As the NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso East, I continue working tirelessly to address the needs and concerns of the community and a strong, dedicated voice for the people I seek to represent. This is a clear manifestation that when given the nod, I will not relegate your concerns to the background,” he assured

“I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality extended to me by the diverse Muslim communities, Christians and other religious bodies living in the various electoral areas we visited,” he said.

“It has been a tremendously rewarding experience to share meals, engage in insightful discussions, and feel the vibrant spirit of fellowship that defines us as all as very accommodating people of one belief which is God. As your next Member of Parliament, I pledge to continue working tirelessly to address the needs and concerns of our community. The invaluable insights I have gained interacting with constituents will guide my efforts to be a strong, dedicated voice for the people of Ayawaso East in the halls of government,” he pledged.
