The NPP-USA Tallahassee Chairman, Shani Abubakari, has reiterated that the governing New Patriotic Party will win all parliamentary seats in the North East Region in the upcoming elections.

He emphasized that the NPP would win by huge margins, and the North East Region would record an unprecedented landslide victory for the NPP.

In the 2016 elections, the NPP won 4 out of the 6 constituencies, including Walewale, Yagaba-Kubori, Yunyon, and Cheripuni, while the NDC picked Nalerigu and Bunkpurugu constituencies.

In the 2020 elections, Nana Akufo-Addo had 122,742 votes representing 51.37%, while John Dramani Mahama got 112,306 votes representing 47.00%. For the parliamentary seats, NPP gained 66.7% and NDC 33.3%.

Shani Abubakari, speaking on Majority Radio's current affairs show Sheei Nim-Mohi, predicted that the NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will receive over 80% of votes in the North East Region, positing that the whole area is "united in Bawumia."

He said significant progress has been made over the years, "but this time, we want to increase our support from 51.7% to over 80%. It is possible."

According to him, people will vote massively for the NPP and its flagbearer to win the 2024 elections.

"The number of infrastructure projects in the North East Region is unprecedented. Some of our youth have been employed in various government departments and agencies. And more of our youth will be employed under Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's government," he said.

The NPP-USA Tallahassee Chairman has been engaging with the youth and people of the North East Region for months to solicit their support for the 2024 NPP flagbearer.

"I have visited all the constituencies to meet with the people, and I can say that our people have a lot of love and appreciation for our father, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. I have also met and engaged with 20 youth groups within the Greater Accra Region. The impact of these meetings is very refreshing. We will continue to engage our people to ensure that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is elected as President of Ghana," he said.

"Dr. Bawumia's immense contribution as Vice President towards the country's development cannot be overemphasized. He has initiated many policies that are making a positive impact on the Ghanaian people. The creation of an enabling digital space and platforms, especially the Ghana Card, is something that Ghanaians should be proud of," he added.

He said the NPP flagbearer will provide quality leadership for all Ghanaians.

"Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has already shown great leadership by bringing brilliant ideas to the Ghanaian economy, so we can trust him. He is the real deal and our surest bet," he said.
