The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Michael Okyere Baafi, has been captured campaigning in heavy rain ahead of the 2024 elections.
Michael Okyere Baafi, who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, is seen with a microphone, standing in the rain, talking to a gathered audience under a tent.
A woman who realized the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP was getting wet and being beaten by the rain brought out an umbrella and covered him with it. However, Okyere Baafi rejected the offer and continued campaigning in the rain, moving from side to side despite being wet.
Meanwhile, the umbrella, commonly recognised as the symbol of the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), may have been rejected by the MP due to a political stance
