Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged Christians in Ghana to pray for the country as it approaches the 2024 election.
He emphasized that the focus of the elections should be on the sharing of ideas, rather than engaging in insults that could lead to conflict.
Speaking at the Holiness Pentecostal Church in New Gbawe, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia reminded Christians of their crucial role in promoting peace before, during, and after the election.
"We must pray for a peaceful election. We should avoid any violence due to the election. The focus should be on exchanging ideas, not insults. There should be no room for conflict. Let's just share our ideas," he stated.
He also expressed his need for their prayers in order to win the election and contribute to the country's development.
