In a generous display of support for the Muslim community, the Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Jeff Konadu Addo, made a presentation of donations on behalf of the NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The donation, which consists of 500 bags of cement and a cash amount of GHS 50,000, was given to the District Chief Imam of Lower Manya Krobo to assist in the renovation of their mosque.
Chairman Jeff, representing Dr. Bawumia, handed over the materials and funds in a ceremony attended by leaders of the Muslim community in Lower Manya Krobo. The donation is expected to significantly contribute to the ongoing efforts to restore the mosque, which plays a central role in the religious and community life of the area.
