Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Lawyer Ekow Vincent Assafuah, has cautioned Ghanaians against voting for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, the NDC has, over the years, not introduced any social intervention to make their lives better as a people.

Therefore, they must vote to rather protect and strengthen these social intervention programmes and policies introduced to help address specific challenges in the country.

Lawyer Ekow Vincent Assafuah was speaking to electorates in the Tafo Zongo when he made this known.

“We are enjoying NHIS and Free SHS, among others, and all these social intervention schemes were introduced by the NPP for all Ghanaians. These social intervention schemes are not only enjoyed by NPP members, so if you’re going to vote, vote for the political party that will ensure that these policies and programmes are protected and strengthened to benefit all. We are now introducing free dialysis, and this will not be enjoyed by only NPP members. It is for the good of Ghanaians, so look at this and vote wisely.

“You have a government that has instituted the Zongo Development Fund for the development of your community. You have voted for the NDC severally, but they never thought of anything like this to help develop you. So vote massively for the NPP. We have brought your own brother who has ensured that you enjoy massive development, so give him the power, and you’ll enjoy more. Don’t be convinced by the NDC, which has never had any plan for the development of Zongo communities in the country."
