Mr Sackyi Sam Agona West Municipal Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has reminded electorates in the municipality of the need to abide by the laws and regulations governing elections, when they go to vote today.

According to him, that was the best way electorates in the area could make next Tuesday’s district level election peaceful and successful

Mr Sam urged qualified voters to elect representatives who would commit themselves to the effective planning and implementation of development projects that would enhance the socio-economic, cultural and spiritual development of the municipality.

Mr Sam was addressing people at separate durbars at Agona-Nyarkrom, Agona kukurantumi, Agona Abodom, Agona-Kwaman, Agona-Bobikuma Upper and Agona Bobikuma Lower on electoral processes, the dos and the don’ts.

The two-week intensive sensitisation programme was organised by officials of the Agona West Municipal Directorate of the NCCE towards the realisation of the aims and objectives of the forthcoming district level elections.

He expressed the hope that, both the electorates and contestants in the area would strive as much as possible to comport themselves to make the event one of the best in recent years.
