Abodapki launches vision and mission for chairmanship race

Chairmanship aspirant of the National Democratic Congress, Daniel Abodakpi says his quest to form a formidable front for the party to live its core values is his motivation in wanting to lead the party as its National Chairman.

The former trade and industry Minister under  Rawlings’ administration and former ambassador to Malaysia’s declaration to join the party’s chairmanship race have rekindled issues surrounding his incarceration under the John Kuffour administration.

Speaking to Ultimate Radio after visiting some delegates in the Western Region, Dan Abodakpi stated that his vision is to “to be able to provide that strong, purposeful leadership that will generate trust and confidence in the rank and file membership of the party to help the NDC consolidate itself to support government to realize its mandate.”

He added that his mission, which also forms the theme for his campaign is, “reconnecting the NDC to its mass base and to its core values.”?The aspirants visit formed part of his regional tours across the country to sell his message to the party delegates.?According to him, the numerous calls on him to contest the position have been positive.
