The Agona West branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inaugurated a 42-member campaign team with a call on supporters to do clean campaign devoid of insults, acrimony and personal attacks.
Mr. Adjei Baffoe, the Central Regional Organizer of the party who made the call, also appealed to the supporters to work hard to retain the parliamentary seat and added that the seat could be retained if party supporters would bury their differences and step up their campaign.
Mr. Baffoe said NPP has 30,000 registered members in the Agona West Constituency and this could help the party to win the seat and appealed to members to intensify their campaign message on free senior high school education that has gone down well with the people.
Mr. Ben Mensah, a former municipal chief executive, said the erstwhile NPP government undertook many development projects in the Municipality in areas such as health, education, sanitation and roads.
He appealed to the people to vote for the NPP for more development projects in the area and that they should desist from any behaviour that could undermine the peace of the country.
