Kofi Akpaloo, leader of the Independent People’s Party (IPP), has started what he terms ‘one-on-one’ political campaign in Kumasi.

The move is intended to win a colossal amount of votes for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the December 7 elections.

He recently declared his unflinching support for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP in the coming national polls.

Mr Akpaloo, who is very popular in Kumasi, has been visiting the various neighbourhoods in the garden city to woo voters for the NPP.

He takes his time to explain the policies and programmes of the party to the people so that they would understand them better and vote for the party.

Mr Kofi Akpaloo was spotted at Asokwa on Wednesday where he was interacting freely with some people about the plans of the NPP to develop the country.

He educated his audience on the NPP’s plan to create jobs through the ‘one district, one factory’ policy.

He noted that Nana Akufo-Addo is a visionary, patriotic, hardworking and development-oriented person and so his government would transform Ghana.

According to Mr Akpaloo, he would be visiting the various localities in the Ashanti and the Volta Regions with his party (IPP) members to win votes for the NPP.

The IPP leader noted that the country will collapse totally if the electorate makes a mistake of retaining President Mahama and his National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration in power.

He urged NPP members to take active part in the party’s campaign activities so that its ‘one-touch’ victory would be assured.
