Akufo Addo committed in creating more jobs - John Boadu

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has said President Akufo-Addo’s government has made significant stride since coming into power in addressing Ghana’s unemployment challenges.

He noted that the gloomy picture of the Ghanaian economy, inherited from the predecessor Mahama, has been reversed, and it is on a defined road of revitalization.

He indicated that government has recruited 3,000 Arabic teachers to help in the teaching of Arabic, 54,000 nurses across the country, 100,000 NABCO workers, 45,000 teachers, Forestry and other institutions.

He said the government was committed to creating more jobs for Ghanaians.

”President Akufo-Addo is creating more jobs for all Ghanaians, his government bent on fulfilling all promises made during the 2016 elections, we have created jobs for NABCO workers, nurses and more youth in the Forestry institutions, “John Boadu exclusively told Kwame Tutu on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM 107.7.

The government has said it will employ 100,000 graduates in 2018 under a special program which will target unemployed graduates in the country.

The program, known as the Nation Builders Corps (NBCO), at the office of the President will deal with challenges in public service delivery.

Mr. John Boadu urged Ghanaians and people of the feuding parties to focus on how to get developmental projects into their areas instead of fighting each other.

According to him, the governing NPP has the objective of filling loopholes of inadequate jobs to alleviate the high level of unemployment the teeming Ghanaian youth is being exposed to.

The ruling NPP government, during the 2016 general elections made series of promises, such as job creation, planting for foods and jobs, one-district one-factory, as a way of reducing the unemployment rate Ghanaians are facing.

John Boadu precisely and clearly communicated his unflinching solidarity in his government, expressing great confidence and assurance that, they are on course to realizing this important goal of job creation.
