Akufo-Addo will surely take Ghana to the Promised Land - NPP Secretary assures

The North East Regional Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Sulley Sambian has admonished members of the party to remain committed to the ideals of the party and be positive that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will surely take them to the Promised Land.

According to him, the President is a promise keeper and will not renege on any of the promises he made to Ghanaians in the run up to the 2016 elections reiterating the need for them to keep hopes alive as the Commander-In-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces drives them to the Promised Land.

Lawyer Sulley who relinquished his position in the Northern Region and returned to his home region to a heroic welcome, took his time to explain government policy to the people and further pleaded with them to continue to keep faith with the NPP.

“Remain committed to the ideals of the NPP and be positive that Nana Addo will surely take us to the Promised Land”, he assured.

When he met party elders in Gambaga, he reminded them of the endemic corruption under erstwhile John Mahama administration underscoring the need never to consider the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as an alternative government.

He said posterity will never remember them kindly if they made the calamitous mistake of bringing back the NDC reminding them of the oil discovery in 2007 and the fact that NDC could not manage this very well to the extent that Ghana had to be taken to IMF when the economy was close to getting on its knees.

“It would be a disaster if we consider bringing back the NDC considering the kind of corruption we witnessed under the Mahama administration. Let us develop the country beyond aid as trumpeted by President Nana Akufo-Addo”, he advised.

In his opinion the cycle of alternating government cyclically every 8 years was not advisable considering the fact that the NDC would only loot and share without the capacity to create wealth.
