Legislator for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has cautioned the National Democratic Congress against electing Koku Anyidoho as the General Secretary of the party.

The outspoken politician believes it will be disastrous replacing the current General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia with his deputy, Koku Anyidoho.

Although Asiedu Nketia has failed to demonstrate enough competence in discharging his duties, Kennedy Agyapong maintained Koku Anyidoho should not be considered as an alternative.

He explained the incumbent Deputy General Secretary of the NDC lacks common sense, hence does not qualify to be a General Secretary for the largest opposition party.

“Ah, Koku Anyidoho? He doesn’t have sense at all. It’s a fact that Mosquito himself doesn’t say sensible things often but he should rather be maintained than go for Koku Anyidoho. There’s no sense in his head,” Mr. Agyapong stressed.

He further advised the NDC to present dignified persons to lead the party.

“We are doing politics and it is both sides that project Ghana so when you present certain people as the face of a party, people will think you’re not serious. Koku Anyidoho is useless. Mosquito is better despite his senseless talks,” the Assin Central MP reiterated.

Mr. Agyapong made these comments on Adom TV’s Badwam show Tuesday.
