The National Youth Organizer of the ruling NPP, Henry Nana Boakye has issued an apology to Ghanaians and Asempa FM, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group, for his unwarranted attack on the NDC's National Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi.
The two young politicians along with the Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwaa, were involved in a heated argument in the studios of Asempa FM on Friday on the ‘Eko Si Sen’ show.
The heated argument which went over the roof led Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, to assault Sammy Gyamfi. In a video which captured the action, Nana B was seen slapping Sammy Gyamfi in the face at the studio.
However, hours after the unfortunate display, the NPP National Youth Organizer has apologized for his action and has promised to be decent at all times to avoid a repetition of the unfortunate incident.
He also called on the NDC's National Communications Director “to be decorous and respectful in his public utterances during such engagements and to, at all times, respect the high office of the President.”

APOLOGY TO ASEMPA FM LISTENERS AND GHANAIANS
I refer to the events which took place yesterday on Asempa FM's Political Talk Show, 'Eko si sen'.
Regardless of the repulsive, provocative conduct by the NDC's National Communications Director on the show which included unacceptable verbal attacks on the President and myself, I am, upon sober reflection, apologising to listeners of Asempa FM and Ghanaians for the manner in which I responded.
I wish to assure all that, I remain committed to decent, issue-based discourse on our airwaves and that this unfortunate incident will not be repeated.
I will also encourage my junior brother, Sammy Gyamfi, to be decorous and respectful in his public utterances during such engagements and to, at all times, respect the high office of the President.
Thank you.
Signed
Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B)
National Youth Organizer, New Patriotic Party
