The December 2024 presidential election is a two-horse race between former President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Various credible polls have at different times put one ahead of the other.
The latest one says Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has a slight edge over John Mahama who since 2016 after his defeat, has been unsuccessful in the 2020 polls to return to power.
