General Overseer and Founder of Yehowa Beye Prayer Ministry, Prophet Nana Yaw Osei Tutu, a.k.a Prophet 99, has said Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was supposed to select Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah as his running mate to secure his victory in the presidential election.

The man of God stated that the respected former Chairman of the Pentecost Church Ghana held the key to helping the New Patriotic Party (NPP) break the eight-year jinx.

He explained that it was a specific instruction from the divine realm, which the NPP failed to heed, which blocked their chances of winning the presidential election on December 7, 2024.

He also claimed that Dr. Opoku Prempeh, the immediate past Energy Minister and now Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's running mate, was imposed on the latter.

He said Dr. Bawumia had a different individual in mind for running mate, but the leadership of the NPP imposed NAPO, as he is affectionately called, on him.

"Prof. Apostle Opoku Onyinah was the one who was supposed to partner Dr. Bawumia as running mate. He is the one wielding the key towards breaking the eight for the NPP. He was the one, but the party preferred NAPO. Due to this, the party will not be able to win the general elections. They should forget about it. They are bound to go into opposition," he noted in an interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM.
