Bawumia’s lies are becoming uncountable - Alhaji Dori

Alhaji Ibrahim Dori Alhaji Ibrahim Dori

It was first described as a shocking twist, when news broke out that Vice-President, H.E. Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, had cancelled his planned Public Lecture expected to be a response to the Lecture delivered last week by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The story attracted quick responses from several executive members of the National Democratic Congress who claimed the story is a hoax. Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, a member of the party interacted with Peacefmonline.com following the publication of the story.

According to the NDC scribe who once vied for the Bawku Central seat during the party’s internal parliamentary primaries, he is in awe of the NPP’s ability to churn out lies about everything.

According to him, he has personally seen the Twitter account of the vice president and can state on authority just as a deputy spokesperson for the NDC's 2016 Campaign Team, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has said it was “cloned” by the NPP.

Claims that Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur was preparing to respond to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's 'state of Ghana's economy' at the National Theatre on Thursday September 15, 2016, has been refuted by leading government officials.

The revelation comes after an announcement was circulated on various social media platforms that the vice president cancelled his planned Public Lecture which was expected to be a response to an earlier lecture delivered by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a running mate to Nana Akufo Addo on the economy.

In the said announcement which flooded various social media platforms, Chairman of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF) and former Presidential Advisor, Ato Ahwoi was supposedly expected to chair the Public Lecture.

Manifesto Copyright

On the issue of manifesto copyrights, Alhaji Ibrahim Dori castigated the NPP and Dr. Bawumia for making it seem as if they are the only group Allah gave wisdom on earth.

He stated that the multiple promises made by the NPP and their “darling boy” Dr. Bawumia were mostly lies prepared to get political favours from the electorates.

“I can’t count no more. The lies from Dr. Bawumia are becoming uncountable I can no longer count them. He tells little truth and adds millions of lies”, he said.

He warned that “the NPP must stop this brouhaha of ownership of ideas and consistent accusations of NDC stealing their Manifesto ideas and hit the grounds campaigning if they mean business or forever remain silent”.

The NDC is solid on its agenda of changing lives and transforming Ghana, according to Alhaji Dori.

He continued that the 2016 Manifesto of the NDC is "problem-solving" manifesto clearly appreciating the various challenges in the economy and social interventions and giving realistic solutions to them.

“For the NPP to refuse bringing their manifesto to the people for them to make a choice in time clearly indicates they are simply not ready for power. We cannot entrust this nation to unprepared NPP”, he added.

He ended by daring the NPP to head to the courts if they feel they have the "copyright" to the idea found in the NDC manifesto.
