The NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is in Bole as he continues his campaign in the northern parts of Ghana.
His presence in Bole is significant because it is the hometown of his closest contender in the race to become president, John Dramani Mahama.
This was after he took a four-day break from his northern regional tour and returned to Accra for official duties.
According to a report by myjoyonline.com, Bawumia's return to the campaign trail will see him cover the remaining constituencies in the north.
Dr. Bawumia embarked on the tour of the northern parts of Ghana after he joined other New Patriotic Party (NPP) members in Kumasi for the official unveiling of his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
He has since visited a number of traditional leaders to pay homage and share his intentions of becoming president with them.
During his meetings, several people have been in attendance, even as the vice president continues to enjoy the reception of mammoth crowds.
