Be objective to vote suitable candidates

Okumaning-Kade (E/R), Nov. 23, GNA - Mr Baba Jamal, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Akwatia Constituency has called on Ghanaians to vote for candidates, who could help to move the country forward.

Mr Jamal said: "Gone are the days when people voted people into power because of affiliations and not how competent the person is." Mr Baba Jamal said this when he addressed members of the NDC at Okumaning, near Kade in the Kwaebibirem District.

He asked the people to objectively examine candidates and ensure that those, who were elected, were capable of leading the people to develop the nation and not to put square poles in round holes. The Parliamentary Candidate advised the people to vote for only those, who could help them to solve their problems at all times. Mr Jamal called on the people to help to conduct the elections in free and peaceful manner to vote him and the NDC into power during the forthcoming elections.

Mr Isaac Kofi Ahima, NDC Secretary for the Akwatia Constituency, advised the people to make good use of their power during the elections and not to be deceived by politicians who could not help them to overcome their problems.

He advised the people not to be afraid of any intimidation but be law-abiding and to do the right thing to maintain the existing peace and harmony in the country.

Mr Ahima called on the people to vote massively during the elections to bring NDC back to power.
