Boateng Genfi joins race for Suame seat

Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Genfi, a product of the Leister University in the United Kingdom and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration has joined the race for the Suame seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

It was ecstatic and jubilation when Mr. Genfi also known as ‘Home boy’ launched his campaign last Wednesday to join the impending NPP primary in the Suame constituency.

He told the media shortly after he picked his nomination forms at the Suame party office that he was contesting to beat the incumbent, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, who has represented the constituents in Parliament for 20 years. He said people are calling for change, hence his decision to join the race and bring about the needed change for the party.

The aspirant stated that people of Suame want change and appealed to delegates to give him the nod to represent the Constituency.

Mr. Genfi urged his fellow contestants to desist from the use of vulgar words, adding that they are not enemies. “We all belong to the NPP and the parliamentary seat is a family contest so let us abide by the rules of the game and unite as a big family after the primaries”.

Mr. Genfi attended Prempeh College and Ahmadiyya Senior High School in before furthering his education at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

He later studied at the Leister University in the United Kingdom for his masters’ degree in Business Administration.
