Solomon Nkansah, the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) now vying for the position of National Organizer of the party has described his adversary, Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan as too old and weak.

“Wofa Yaw Boateng is too old and weak for the position of National Organizer”. He said

“I may not be fair to say Wofa Yaw Boateng can’t do the job as the National Organizer but I must say that, he is too old and weak for such a position”. He stated.

Mr. Nkansah made this claim on Kumasi-based Hello Fm in an interview with King Eben.

When asked about how his party lost despite the youthful campaign message they used in the election? He responded: “Ghanaians have testified themselves that, if they had listened to the NDC, the nation would be far better than this”.

Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan, a former National Organizer of the party declared his intentions to re–contest the same position when the party goes to the next congress to elect new executives to lead them for 2020 general elections.

Mr Yaw Boateng was part of NDC’s leaders who led the party to victory during the 2008 and 2012 general elections.

However, Solomon Nkansah, the leader of the communication team of the party says his senior; Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan is not fit for the race as compared to that of their rival in the NPP.

According to him, the party now needs vibrant and energetic leaders to face their opponent in NPP likely to be Sammy Awuku hence his claim that Mr Boateng Gyan is not the best candidate for the job.

He furthermore suggested, it would be better if Mr Boateng Gyan vie for the post of Deputy Organizer to augment efforts of the Organiser he is optimistic will win.
