The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, has pointed out that the strategy of the NDC has been to make Bolga a very formidable seat for the NDC party.

He made this remark after he won the seat again in a landslide, polling a whooping 35,101 votes and leaving his contender Elvis Atia Awonekai with 15,470 votes.

He pointed out that maintaining the seat is not just limited to him, but it is the intention, that whoever is contesting as a Member of Parliament on the ticket of the NDC will emerge victorious.

"...And it will remain so even if Isaac Adongo is not a member of Parliament," he stressed.

He emphasized that Bolga Central will continue to be a no-go area for the NPP.

He also noted that Bolga would not be noted as one of the swing seats.
