CEPS boss appointed Ambassador-designate

The Commissioner of Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) Major-General Carl Modey has been nominated as an Ambassador-designate by President John Dramani Mahama.

“His Excellency has therefore directed that Major-General Carl Modey take accumulated leave due him commencing Monday June 17, 2013,” a statement issued by the Minister of Information and Media Relations, Mahama Ayariga has said.

The statement said the president further directed that Deputy Commissioner of CEPS, Mr. Isaac Apronti, act as Commissioner of CEPS, which also commences on June 17.
