DR. Nduom and Dr. Sakara storm northern regions

Presidential candidates of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and that of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Dr. Abu Sakara Foster are Kris crossing the north with their campaigns.

While, Dr. Nduom started from the eastern corridor, Dr. Abu Sakara on the other hand combed through some constituencies in the western corridor of the north.

The PPP Presidential candidate after rounding up his Volta regional campaign tour visited the Wulensi constituency, through Bimbila to Yendi, Zabzugu, Kpandai and Chereponi among others.

A Deputy Communications Director of the PPP, Samuel Ampah gave highlights of the PPP Presidential candidate’s campaign saying, “Dr. Nduom is in Wulensi and will be moving to Bimbila, Yendi, Kpandai and other constituencies in the north to continue with his door to door campaigns.”

According to Samuel Ampah, the PPP Presidential candidate promised to chase out illegal Chinese miners when he wins power.

“Dr. Nduom says that it is unfortunate that the Chinese people have engaged themselves in illegal mining activities in this country and that they even have the guts to be wilding guns and shooting the people of Ghana; he assures Ghanaians that when he becomes President he will make sure that all the illegal Chinese miners in the country will be chased out.”

In a related development, the Presidential candidate of the CPP, Dr. Abu Sakara Foster also started campaigning in the western corridor of the north where he promised to make senior secondary education free.

National Organizer of the CPP, Mr. Abu Forgor hinted, “At the moment we just ended our Volta Regional campaign tour and started with the western corridor of the northern region and the Upper West Region.”

He indicated, “Indeed we are going out with our message of making education free from basic up to the senior high level and we are also promising more job opportunities for the youth.”
