The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has praised the people of Tain in the Bono Region for their consistent support of the NDC over the years.

During his retail campaign tour in the Bono Region, Asiedu Nketiah, who visited his home constituency, expressed gratitude to the residents for their faith in his leadership and contributions to his political journey.

“I am at my current position because of your support and prayers, and I will do everything possible to keep the name of Tain in the good books of Ghana,” he said.

He reflected on his political roots, noting that the trust of Tain residents in his vision propelled him to represent them in Parliament.

“This representation is what has brought me this far,” he added.

As part of his visit, the National Chairman inaugurated several developmental projects, including newly constructed mechanized boreholes in Arko Krom and Kwadwo Krom, as well as a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in Seikwa Tainso.

These projects, he explained, fulfilled promises made by the Member of Parliament for the area, Sulemana Ramzy.

He also toured various communities, including Nfojo, Kogwaa, Kyekyewere, Seikwa, Nasana, Brodi, Di Babi, Nsoko, and Tano Krom, where he engaged with residents and reaffirmed his commitment to their development.

Asiedu Nketiah urged residents to support the NDC by voting massively for Sulemana Ramzy and John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections.

He emphasized that their votes would enable the NDC to implement impactful policies and sustain development in the constituency.

Sulemana Ramzy, the MP for Tain, also addressed the residents, promising to complete ongoing projects and initiate new ones. He stressed that voting for both him and John Dramani Mahama was crucial for the constituency’s progress.

“Having an MP without a president from the same party is frustrating, as it makes securing projects for the constituency difficult,” Ramzy explained.
