Mr. Thomas Acquinas Tawiah Quansah, the former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman West Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has called on the rank and file of the party to intensify their campaign efforts ahead of the December 7 elections. Speaking on The Citizen Show hosted by Kwabena Bobie Ansah on Accra 100.5 FM, Mr. Quansah emphasized the importance of mobilizing party supporters to secure a decisive victory for the party.
Mr. Quansah asserted that the NDC has a compelling message that can outperform the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He criticized the NPP, led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for its perceived mismanagement of the economy, describing their governance as "super incompetent."
According to him, the current economic challenges under the NPP administration have paved the way for an NDC victory.
"The NDC has a solid message with its 24-hour economy plan," Mr. Quansah stated.
He urged every party member to contribute actively to the campaign, emphasizing that the party must seize this opportunity to win the elections.
He warned that Ghanaians would not forgive the NDC if they failed to secure victory given the current state of the country under the NPP.
Mr. Quansah also highlighted the urgency for the NDC to step in and address the issues facing the nation.
He argued that it is crucial for the party to work diligently to cleanse the system and restore good governance.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Quansah reiterated that victory is within reach for the NDC, urging all members to put their shoulders to the wheel and ensure success on December 7.
