The incumbent Member of Parliament for the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency and Deputy Minister for Energy, Collins Adomako Mensah, has revealed that the NPP seeks to secure 80% votes in the upcoming 2024 election for the constituency.

According to him, the massive developmental projects done by the Nana Addo-Bawumia-led NPP government in the constituency, coupled with proper structures and policies laid by the flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, give them the edge of overwhelming victory.

He said within the period of his reign, there are so many infrastructure projects the NPP government has done for the constituency.

He listed the achievements in health, security, roads, schools, and jobs, among others.

He said this in an interview with the media after he had successfully filed his nomination form at the district's EC office.

Describing the process as a smooth one, he commended the Electoral Commission for always exhibiting professionalism.

The deputy minister, who was accompanied by numerous party supporters to the EC office amid crowding and cheering, thanked the party chairman, executives, delegates, and the electorate for their continuous support.

He also thanked the president for elevating him to the deputy ministerial position, adding that the president has always been good to the people of Afigya Kwabre.

He, however, pledged his commitment to serving Mother Ghana and his constituents.
