The flagbearer of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has paid a visit to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Shaributu, and prayed with him at Kanda Central Mosque to inform him of his 2024 presidential ambition and highlight his manifesto policies.
During the visit, Hassan Ayariga praised the chief Imam for his leadership and reaffirmed his dedication to the Muslim community, as the first Muslim to contest for the presidency in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
In an interaction with the Turkish resident Imam at the National Mosque, Hassan Ayariga promised a peaceful campaign as it is essential for the progress of the country.
He also called on the Imam to showcase the Mosque to the rest of the world and committed to fostering unity and development.
The Imam asked for Allah's guidance and to grant him wisdom.
The visit symbolizes the importance of dialogue and collaboration between political leaders and religious figures in promoting peace and unity in Ghana.
Hassan Ayariga is set to kickstart his campaign in the Greater Accra region ahead of the 2024 elections.
