Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, has concluded a three-day tour across the Ahafo Region, engaging communities to rally support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and NPP parliamentary candidates ahead of the 2024 general elections.
His tour took him to Aprakukrom, Kukuom, Nkrankrom, and Amanfrom, where he emphasised the NPP’s development track record and urged locals to vote for continuity.
In Aprakukrom, Agyarko highlighted key achievements of the NPP government, including increasing cocoa prices to 3,000 Cedis, constructing a 30-bed health facility at Abuom, and rehabilitating roads.
He assured the people that the NPP remained the best choice to manage the country’s recovery despite recent economic challenges.
In Kukuom, he addressed a gathering of elderly citizens, reminding them of the town’s importance to Ghana’s economy through cocoa, timber, and gold production.
He cautioned against NDC “propaganda” and emphasised that the NPP’s leadership was vital for the future of the town’s youth.
The tour continued in Nkrankrom, where Agyarko visited local chiefs and contributed to an ICT project.
He urged voters to support Dr Bawumia and Yaw Broni for continued development. His final stop in Amanfrom saw him reiterate the NPP’s commitment to improving living standards, with further promises of infrastructure projects and rural development.
Agyarko concluded by assuring all communities that the NPP was dedicated to their welfare and that their votes were crucial to sustaining progress.
