He said vehicles to convey the electoral materials to the polling station were available.
Presiding Officers would picked the electoral materials from various Police Stations in the early hours while Polling Assistants prepared the polling stations for the voting.
He said tight security measures had been put in place and expressed the hope that nobody would try to disturb or disrupt the voting. "There are 12 military personnel around who would be stationed in the town in addition to the Police officers," he said.
Nana Numapau said polling agents had been given accreditation for easy identification.
He said an agent would assist blind persons through the stages but they would cast their vote in secret with a special ballot paper provided for them.
