Felix Kwakye Ofosu officially announces Parliamentary bid; targets Central Region seat

If all goes well, sharp-witted National Democratic Congress (NDC) former Deputy Minister of Information, Felix Kwakye Ofosu will be filing to contest to be a Member of Parliament Abora Asebu Kwamankese seat on the NDC ticket, MyNewsGh.com has filed.

The current MP for the area is Anthony Christian Dadzie an NDC MP. Felix Kwakye Ofosu is a native of Abakrampa in the Abora Asebu Kwamankese of the Central Region.

He officially declared his intention to contest the next parliamentary primaries of the NDC in the Constituency when the party gives the go ahead.

MyNewsGh.com is reliably informed Felix Kwakye made this declaration when he met the Constituency Executives of the NDC on Friday.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu is widely commended forhis sharp debating skills. He is a former deputy communications minister in the erstwhile Dramani Mahama administration.

In June 2018 he was alleged by a staff of the Electoral Commission of Ghana to have paid money to the agency to influence of the 2016 general elections, an allegation he denied. Top officials of the commission were earlier removed from office following a commission of inquiry report that concluded that they breaching procurement laws of Ghana during organisation of the 2016 elections.

Felix Ofosu Kwakye is very popular among the grassroots of the party at all levels in the country and is believed to be capable of winning.
