Fetish Priest Predicts Victory For Nana Addo

A traditional priest in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality, Nana Barima Akradaa KamKpe Dadie Fa-Obuo Fa, has stated that NPP’s elected flag bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will win the presidential election come 2012.

This, he said, would bring back the joy and freedom Ghanaians enjoyed during former President John Kufuor’s regime thus disentangling the country from the shackles of the ruling National Democratic Congress.

Nana Barima, who claimed he predicted the landslide victory chalked by Nana Addo in the recent NPP presidential primaries, told DAILY GUIDE that, his mother (mother of the sea, Maame Water) revealed Nana’s victory to him during his recent visit to her kingdom.

“She was very emphatic that Nana Addo will win the 2012 general elections and that he will become the next President of Ghana to save the country from its current economic downturn.”

According to the priest, he visits the one who gives him power periodically to hear what would happen in the world.

“I visit her during midweek and we talk extensively on issues affecting the world. She fights for the vulnerable and normally sends me to deliver messages to the world.”

He was positive about the certainty of his prediction and went ahead to give testimonies of God’s endorsement of Nana Akufo Addo to capture political power from the Atta Mills led NDC government.

Asked whether he was not an NPP faithful, he said he had never exercised his franchise and that the NDC stole victory from the then ruling NPP government because the latter took things for granted and decided not to heed the call of some of them (priests) since their dealings made the defeat very clear months before the 2008 general elections.

Nana Barima has thrown a bet to all Ghanaians who doubt him to challenge his prediction.
