Firdause Musah rallies support for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, outlines achievement of NPP govt

Mrs. Firdause Musah, the founder of Patriotic Ladies For Bawumia, has expressed her hope and confidence in the Dr. Bawumia/Napo ticket.

Speaking at the maiden edition of 'The Achievement of Dr. Mahmud Bawumia Community Engagement' in Aboabo, a suburb of the Asawasi Constituency, which was sponsored by Ali Suraj Mrs. Firdause highlighted some key projects that she has benefited from under the Nana/Bawumia administration.

She highlighted social intervention programs such as the free SHS education, of which she is a product.

She also highlighted some projects and policies that have brought significant development and given a major facelift to the Zongo Community, which has contributed immensely to the success of the party and government.

EDUCATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Some of project she highlighted that inured to the benefits of the zongo communities are:

1. A 6-unit classroom block at Berekese Zongo

2. A-6unit classroom block at offinso

3. A 6-unit classroom block at Buoho Islamic school

4. A-6unit classroom block at Adibiya Islamic school

5. A-6unit classroom at Bogoso Zongo etc.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

1. Vocational Training for Zongo youth, HoVolta Region

2. Vocational Training for Zongo youth,Wa Upper West Region

3. vocational Training for Zongo youth, Damango etc.

INSTITUTIONAL TOILET
1. A 10-seater institutional toilet at Salaga

2. A 10-seater institutional toilet at Elmina Zongo

3. 10 seater toilet, Adansi Brofoyedu Zongo etc.

MECHANIZED WATER SYSTEM

1 Mechanized water systems at Wulugu

2 Mechanized water system at Kabite Zongo

3 Mechanized water system at Sagadugu

4 Mechanized water system at Hweehwee Zongo etc

She also mentioned Dr. Mahmud Bawumia's sponsorship of some Zongo female students to study medicine in Cuba. According to Mrs. Firdause, one thing that amazes her about this policy is that Muslim women will no longer be taken care of by male doctors. She also encouraged the government to increase the intake of the scholarship so that more female doctors can be trained in the Zongo Community, as Islam forbids male doctors from taking care of female patients. Having more female doctors will help address this issue.

In conclusion, she also pleaded with the electorate in the Zongo Community to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia in the 2024 general election.
