Accra, Jan. 12, GNA - The Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) on Monday congratulated President John Evans Atta Mills on his assumption of the office of the Presidency.
A statement signed by Dr. Alexander Tweneboa, President of the Association said it would implore the new administration to honour its promises as outlined in the manifesto of the National Democratic Party (NDC), especially that of promoting the social and economic well being of Ghanaians to ensure they live in dignity.
GREDA urged President Mills to work closely with the organisation to resolve the nation's chronic housing shortage. "When our people are properly housed, other economic and social gains will also occur," the statement said, adding, GREDA was willing to assist in building a better Ghana for all. The statement commended members of the NDC and the New Patriotic Party for ensuring a peaceful election.
