Musician and politician, Kwame Asare Obeng alias A Plus has wandered how the governing New Patriotic Party(/NPP) is going to get to unravel the cause of death of former President John Evans Atta Mills when the party is yet to get to the bottom of the death of JB Danquah Adu, a former NPP MP.

Mr Pius Hadzide, a Deputy Minister for Information, had stated in a radio interview that investigations were being done into the cause of death of the former President and the perpetrators of the act if any so as to bring finality to the matter.

Speaking on Okay FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Pius Hadzide said it is in the interest of all parties, including former President John Mahama that the issue is thoroughly investigated.

According to him, since the former President Mahama doesn’t want to be accused of killing his former boss, it is important that the issue is investigated once and for all.

“Currently, the lawyers of the former President have written to the CID that they are being accused, which shows the former President Mahama even wants an investigation. When this matter is investigated, that is how we can bring finality to the matter.” The deputy minister said.

But reacting on Facebook, A Plus questioned: ”Have you been able to get to the bottom of your own party member, JB Dankwa’s death? “

Former President John Atta Mills died in July 2012 while serving as President. His demise led to his vice President, then John Mahama to be sworn in as President.

The cause of death and other relevant information remain unknown.

Recent accusations by Kwame Baffoe ( Abronye DC) that former President Mahama is responsible for his death as rekindled discussions on the matter
